Vivo’s S-series smartphones have been launched in the global market as Vivo V-series. The S20 lineup is expected to be launched as V50. The Vivo V50 series may enter India and global markets in the coming days. The Vivo S20 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor while the S20 Pro has a Dimensity 9300+ processor.

Vivo S20 series has been launched in China. The company has brought it as a successor to the S19 series, which was launched in May this year. Vivo S20 and S20 Pro smartphones have been launched in the series. Both the phones have been brought with many upgraded features. Let’s know about the features of both of them.

Price and Availability

Vivo S20 and S20 Pro have been launched with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Both smartphones come in Phoenix Feather Gold and Loose Smoke Ink colors. The Pro variant also gets a Purple Air shade while the vanilla model is available in Jade Dew White.

The starting price of S20 and S20 Pro is CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs 26,790) and CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs 39,600) respectively.

Display: Both the Vivo S20 and S20 Pro feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. The standard model has a flat panel while the Pro variant has a curved screen.

Camera: The S20 has a dual camera setup of 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The S20 Pro, on the other hand, has a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide and a 50MP periscope shooter with 3x zoom. Both phones have a 50MP front snapper.

Processor: The Vivo S20 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the S20 Pro has a Dimensity 9300+ processor.

Battery: The S20 has a 6,500mAh battery, which supports 80W fast charging. The S20 Pro has a 5,500mAh battery, which supports 90W charging.

Software and other features: The Vivo S20 series already comes with OriginOS 5 based Android 15. The phone has an in-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, USB-C and dual-band GPS.
