The Railway Minister shared a video of Vande Bharat Sleeper running at 180 km/h, in which the glass of water is seen stable! This shows the stability and passenger comfort of the train. It is expected to get approval after trials by January.

New Delhi. Vande Bharat Sleeper will soon be seen running on the tracks. Its trial is now in the final stages. A new video of the train has surfaced which will surprise you. In this video, Vande Bharat Sleeper is seen touching the speed of 180 kmph. The speed of the train can be seen on the speedometer of a phone and a glass full of water is kept next to this phone. But the surprising thing is that not even a drop of water is spilling from this glass.

This video has been shared by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on his X account. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav shared a video of successful testing in Kota division. In the video, water was shown stagnant in a glass kept inside the Vande Bharat Sleeper train, while the train was running at a speed of 180 kmph. This video shows the comfort provided to the passengers even at high speed. Railways has said that these tests will continue till the end of January.

Success of trials
On Thursday, the train achieved a speed of 180 kmph while covering a distance of 30 km on the Kota-Laban section in Bundi district of Rajasthan. Earlier, on January 1, the train touched a speed of 180 km/h in a 40 km trial run on the Rohal Khurd to Kota section. On the same day, speeds of 170 km/h and 160 km/h were achieved on the Kota-Nagda and Rohal Khurd-Chowmahala sections respectively.

Features of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train
The Vande Bharat Sleeper Train has automatic doors, ultra-comfortable berths, onboard WiFi and an aircraft-like design. Currently, 136 Vande Bharat trains are running on medium and short-distance routes across the country, giving world-class experience to passengers. The biggest challenge for the railways was to add berths and test it completely with the weight of passengers and luggage. After these successful tests, passengers can expect a world-class experience in Vande Bharat Sleeper trains on long-distance journeys such as Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Delhi to Mumbai, and Howrah to Chennai. This will also reduce the travel time considerably. Currently, the maximum speed of the fastest train on the Mumbai-Delhi route, Tejas Rajdhani Express, is 140 km/h.
