Police have taken into custody Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, the accused in the Saif Ali Khan attack case. New clues have emerged in the investigation.
New evidence is coming to light in the Saif Ali Khan attack case day by day and the investigation is becoming more complicated. The accused who attacked Saif, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, is in police custody. The police are interrogating him further and new clues are coming to light. In the same way, new information about the accused has come to the police’s hands.
More strong evidence has been found against Saif Ali Khan ‘s attacker, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad. Additional Police Officer Paramjit Singh Dahiya spoke about this evidence on Tuesday.
An additional police officer said, “The fingerprints have been sent for examination. The report is yet to come. The accused Shariful was living on the streets of Kolkata. The husband of a woman was admitted in a nearby hospital. He stole the woman’s mobile phone. Since she was poor and illiterate, she did not file a complaint with the police. The accused kept using the woman’s SIM card.”
The SIM card used by accused Shariful was in the name of a woman named Jehangir Sheikh, who was arrested by the police from West Bengal and interrogated.
Meanwhile, the accused had come to India with the intention of committing theft. He first went to Kolkata. But there, he decided to come to Mumbai as he was believed to be Bangladeshi from his speech. He was working in a restaurant near Saif’s house in Mumbai. Due to this, he got more information about the Bandra area.
