The third season of ‘Panchayat’ has been released on Amazon Prime Video after a wait of almost two years. Before knowing about its story, merits and demerits, let’s take a look at its actors and creators. The story of ‘Panchayat 3’ has been written by Chandan Kumar. Deepak Kumar Mishra has directed it.

Made in eight episodes, the story of ‘Panchayat-3’ revolves around Raghuveer Yadav (Brijbhushan Dubey, husband of village head Manju Devi), Neena Gupta (village head Manju Devi), Jitendra Kumar (Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi), Chandan Roy (Secretary Assistant Vikas), Faisal Malik (Deputy Head Prahlad Pandey) and Sanvika (Pradhan’s daughter Rinki). This time Ashok Pathak (Vinod), Sunita Rajwar (Kranti Devi) and Durgesh Kumar (Bhushan) have been given good screen time.

The story is something like this
The third season of Panchayat starts from the city. Abhishek Tripathi, the Panchayat Secretary of Phulera, gets transferred and reaches the city. Pradhan Ji (Brijbhushan Dubey), Prahlad and Vikas get upset due to the departure of the Secretary. They do not allow the new Secretary to join and put pressure on DM Madam to stop the transfer of Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi. Due to the cunningness of Pradhan Ji and Vikas, Manju Devi gets scolded by DM Madam and then MLA Chandra Kishore Singh (Pankaj Jha) goes after them. Bhushan and Kranti Devi take advantage of this and try to dominate Pradhan Ji with the help of the MLA. Now the question arises that how will the Secretary get Pradhan Ji out of all this? To know this, you will have to watch the series.

Amazing work
Neena Gupta who played Pradhan Manju Devi, Faisal Malik who played Deputy Pradhan Prahlad Pandey and Pankaj Jha who played MLA Chandra Kishore Singh have done excellent acting in this season as well like other seasons. Sunita Rajwar who played Kranti Devi, Durgesh Kumar who played Bhushan and Ashok Pathak who played Vinod have done a good job in this season. The comic timing of these three is amazing.

These people disappointed in terms of acting
Jitendra Kumar, who plays the character of Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi, is the soul of this entire web series. While he made people happy in the first two seasons, he has disappointed in the third season. Compared to ‘Panchayat-1’ and ‘Panchayat-2’, he looked pale in ‘Panchayat-3’. Raghuveer Yadav, who played the role of Pradhan ji, and Chandan Roy, who played the role of Panchayat Secretary Assistant Vikas, also failed to entertain people somewhere. This is because in the first two seasons, the dialogues and punchlines of these three were quite funny, while in the third season, neither their dialogues are strong nor have these three delivered any good punchline.

Direction and Story
Like ‘Panchayat-1’ and ‘Panchayat-2’, ‘Panchayat-3’ is also well directed. The entire web series has an equal amount of suspense, comedy and thrill. The love story of Rinki and the secretary has been taken forward, bloodshed has also been shown and the son-in-law has also been brought back. The most amazing thing is that Prahlad leaves Pradhan ji amidst politics and fights.

Climax
The first two episodes of ‘Panchayat Season 3’ seem a bit boring, but as soon as the story picks up pace from the third episode, the binge watch begins. The first season made you laugh, the second season made you cry, the third season showed mutual differences, fights and even bloodshed. ‘Panchayat 3’ ends with a big question for the answer to which the audience will have to wait for the fourth season.
