New viral video: A girl clicking a selfie at Borane Ghat in Satara district of Maharashtra fell into a 100 feet deep gorge. 29-year-old Nasreen Aamir Qureshi was clicking a selfie when she lost her balance and fell straight into the gorge. However, the relief was that Nasreen, a resident of Pune, was rescued with the help of home guards and local people. Nasreen has suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to a nearby hospital.

The police have said that Nasreen is a resident of Pune and had come to see Thosghar Waterfall with several of her friends and during this time they all stopped at Borane Ghat and started taking some pictures, at which time Nasreen’s foot slipped and she fell into the gorge below. After this, the girl’s friends informed the local people and the police about the incident, after which the rescue operation started. After a lot of hard work, Nasreen was rescued from the gorge.

Just last month, 27-year-old social media influencer Anvi Kamdar died after falling into a ditch while making a video in Maharashtra’s Raigad district. Anvi Kamdar, a chartered accountant from Mumbai, had gone for a monsoon trip with her seven friends when the accident happened. Kamdar fell into a 300-foot deep ditch while making a video near the famous Kumbhe waterfall in Mangaon, Raigad. After this, the police and local rescue teams reached the spot after being informed by Kamdar’s friends, but Anvi could not be saved.
