MVA meeting : Prakash Ambedkar increased the suspense in Maharashtra, banned even going to MVA meeting

In Maharashtra politics, Prakash Ambedkar has left the opposition alliance in a dilemma. He has told his leaders that no one should attend the MVA meeting unless the party has permission.

In Maharashtra, Babasaheb’s grandson Prakash Ambedkar’s party Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) is still keeping the opposition alliance in confusion. There has been talk of his joining the opposition alliance for a long time, however now one of his videos has further increased the suspense. He has told the people of his party that no one should go to the meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi unless permission is given by the leadership. Let us tell you that the matter regarding seat sharing has not been finalized yet.

The challenge has increased even more because even before the matter of seat sharing was finalized, Ambedkar has fielded his candidates on three Lok Sabha seats. He himself has announced to contest elections from Akola Lok Sabha seat. Whereas the names of Rajendra Salunke and Chandrahar Patil have been declared from Vawardha and Sangli respectively. Congress, NCP and Uddhav faction agreed on giving Akola seat to VBA. However, no consensus was reached regarding three seats.

According to the information, Mahavikas Aghadi alliance was in a mood to give a total of two seats to VBA. Congress leader Vijay Vedettivar said, we are going to hold the meeting on 5th or 6th March. Solutions to all these issues will emerge in that meeting. Meanwhile, Prakash Ambedkar says that efforts are on to join Mahavikas Aghadi but seat sharing has not been finalized yet. He claimed that NCP founder Sharad Pawar had asked him to give him four to five seats. Till now no information has been received in this matter.

He also claimed that BJP will not be able to cross the 150 mark in the Lok Sabha elections. Earlier, on 27th February, a meeting of Mahavikas Aghadi was held in which Prakash Ambedkar was also present. On the other hand, there is news that the seat sharing formula has been decided between the three parties of MVA. Clear information about seat sharing has not been revealed. However, it is believed that Congress can win 18 seats, NCP 10 and Shiv Sena (UBT) 20 seats. Now if VBA is involved then the parties may have to compromise a bit.
