Maharashtra Fire Breaks in Mumbai: Many slums were burnt to ashes due to a massive fire in Mumbai, Maharashtra on Wednesday (February 28). According to the information, a fire incident occurred in Azad Nagar of Mira Bhayandar, Mumbai. One person has died in the fire incident. It is being told that a fire broke out in a slum area in Azad Nagar, after which many slums were burnt to ashes. Large plumes of smoke were seen rising in Mira Road city.

Efforts are being made to completely control the fire with the help of about seven vehicles of the fire department. Four employees of the fire department were also injured while extinguishing the fire. Police and fire department employees and officers are present on the spot.

1 dead in massive fire in Mumbai

According to the information, a local citizen died in a cylinder blast after the fire. He was badly injured in the cylinder blast. The deceased has been identified as Deepak alias Pappu Chaurasia (paanwala). Three local people are said to be slightly injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. There is no one else burnt in the fire, hence the fire brigade team is also doing cooling and searching.

Many warehouses and slums turned into ashes

A sudden fire broke out in the Azad Nagar slum near Gold Nest Circle in Bhayandar East near Mumbai on Wednesday (February 28) at around 5 am. As soon as the information was received, fire brigade officials reached the spot and started controlling the fire, but the fire has still not been completely controlled. According to the information, there are garages, plastic, scrap etc. in Azad Nagar. More than 50 huts and warehouses were burnt to ashes. Four firefighters sustained minor injuries while extinguishing the fire, while a local citizen reportedly suffered a fractured arm after falling while trying to escape.
