Laadla Bhai Scheme : Maharashtra government launched ‘Laadla Bhai’ scheme. Know everything

Laadla Bhai Scheme in Maharashtra: Maharashtra’s ‘Mahayuti Government’ has promised to give Rs 6,000 every month to 12th pass students just before the assembly elections .

Under the Maharashtra government’s ‘Laadla Bhai’ scheme, 12th pass students will be given Rs 6,000 every month, diploma holders Rs 8,000 and degree holders Rs 10,000 every month. The Maharashtra government launched this special scheme on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi on Wednesday (July 17). This new scheme called ‘Laadla Bhai Yojana’ is for 12th class pass youth. The opposition in Maharashtra has long been raising the issue of rising unemployment among the youth and the announcement of financial assistance for the youth by the Shinde government can be seen as a response to these concerns.

CM Eknath Shinde made the announcement before the elections
Giving information about this scheme, CM Eknath Shinde said that under this scheme, students who pass 12th class will get Rs 6,000 per month. Apart from this, diploma holders will be given Rs 8,000 per month and graduate pass students will be given Rs 10,000 per month.

This announcement made by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Pandharpur is being seen in the context of the Maharashtra Assembly elections to be held later this year. It is believed that the government has made this announcement to attract different sections of the population a few months before the elections.

Youth will also do apprenticeship
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said the ‘Laadla Bhai’ scheme aims to support young men. The initiative comes after the ‘Laadli Behna’ scheme, which focused only on women. According to the scheme, these youths will also undergo a one-year apprenticeship in factories where they will gain work experience. The government believes that the initiative will create a skilled workforce that will benefit both the state and the country’s industry.

CM Shinde said that this is the first time that any government has launched such a scheme. He said, “Our government will pay the youth of our state to do apprenticeship in factories. This is the first time in history that any government has launched such a scheme. Through this, we have found a solution to unemployment. Our youth will gain experience as apprentices in companies and the government will give them a stipend. This will make our youth skilled and job-ready.”

Recently ‘Laadli Behna Yojana’ was also started

Before the ‘Laadla Bhai’ scheme, the ‘Laadli Behna Yojana’ was announced during the recent monsoon session of the Maharashtra Assembly. Announced in the state budget presented in the Assembly by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, the scheme aims to provide monthly assistance of Rs 1,500 to married and divorced women in the age group of 21-60. The age limit was later increased to 65 years after the announcement by CM Shinde.

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray recently raised the issue of unemployed youth in Maharashtra. Speaking to the media after the assembly session, the former CM said that he has demanded a scheme for boys in Maharashtra similar to the ‘Laadli Behna’ scheme in Madhya Pradesh. He highlighted that today there is no difference between boys and girls. Hence, both should benefit equally from such schemes.
