He is facing a lot of criticism and complaints have also been filed against him at many places. Now Ranveer has got another shock. Ranveer Allahabadia’s followers decreased
According to a report by influencer marketing intelligence platform, Coruz, Ranveer Allahabadia’s Instagram account has lost about 4153 followers. Not only this, his another account ‘BeerBiceps’ has also lost 4205 followers.
May have to lose brand deal
The report further claims that Ranveer is also likely to lose YouTube subscribers and this controversy may also affect his brand deal. Previously, the YouTuber has collaborated with brands like Spotify, Mountain Dew, Amazon Prime Video, Intel and Wow Skin Science.
What is the controversy related to Ranveer Allahabadia
Daransal Ranveer Allahabadia is facing criticism for his recent comments on India’s Got Talent. Ranveer Allahabadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, had allegedly asked a contestant an objectionable question related to body parts during a recent episode of the show and offered to perform an obscene act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The outrage reached its peak when he asked an indecent question about parents.”
Ranveer’s comment left many shocked and disappointed. In no time, the video went viral on social media and many, including politicians and film personalities, have strongly condemned Allahabadia.
Case registered against Ranveer and Samay Raina among others
Following the incident, a police complaint has also been filed against Ranveer Allahabadia, Samay Raina and several co-judges of the show, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. The FIR accuses them of promoting obscene and sexually explicit content on the show using several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). While the episode has now been removed from YouTube, further investigation is underway.
Ranveer has also apologized
Amidst all this, Ranveer also issued an apology through a video statement. He said, “My comment was not only inappropriate but also not funny. Comedy is not my specialty. I have come here just to say sorry. Many of you asked if I wanted to use my platform like this and obviously, I don’t want to use it like this. I am not going to give any context, justification or reasoning behind what happened. I have come here just to apologize.”
