New Delhi. The highest grossing film of the year 2024, ‘Pushpa 2’ is still dominating the box office. The film has broken many records of earnings worldwide and has become the second highest grossing film of India. On one hand, while the makers and directors are celebrating the success party of this film, on the other hand, income tax raids have started in their homes and offices.

Income Tax Department officials on Wednesday (January 22) raided the house and office of ‘Pushpa 2’ director Sukumar in Hyderabad. According to Sakshi Post, these raids started early in the morning and lasted for several hours. It is being told that Sukumar was at Hyderabad airport when the Income Tax officials took him to his residence and then the raid was conducted.

However, no information has been given yet about the purpose and results of the raid. No official of the Income Tax Department has given any statement about this raid. This raid has come at a time when Sukumar is enjoying the success of his recently released film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. The film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles and has grossed over Rs 1800 crore worldwide.
