Bad news for those working in TCS! The company has made this big change in the work from home policy

Tata Consultancy Services: Noel Tata-led Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has made changes to its work-from-home (WFH) policy by tightening attendance for employees.

Tata Consultancy Services: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a Tata Group company led by Noel Tata, has taken a big decision. According to media reports, TCS has made changes in the work from home policy by making attendance stricter for its workers. According to the report, under this change, adjustments will now be required in personal emergency day, entry deadline and backend process.

Personal Emergency Day: Employees can use 6 days every three months for any personal emergency. Along with this, if any personal emergency day is left to be used, it can be forwarded to the next quarter.

Exceptional Entry: Due to lack of space, employees can submit a maximum of 30 requests in a single entry. If there is a network related problem, then a maximum of five log-ins can be made at a time. If the request is not submitted within 10 days, it will be automatically rejected. Backdated entry is allowed only for the last two working days. For missing entry of work from home, one can apply till 5th of next month.

5 Day Attendance Policy: Unlike other IT companies, TCS has already implemented the attendance policy of five days a week. Whereas in other companies it is three days a week.

Workplace should be stress free

TCS HR head Milind Lakkad has stressed the need for his leaders to promote a good working environment for the workers, where people work happily with each other. Also, feel motivated and work diligently.
