Air taxi models and stations were introduced at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo held at India Expo Center and Mart in Greater Noida. In a few years, people of Delhi-NCR will be able to reach from one city to another in 15-20 minutes.

In the coming few years, transport services will be seen in a new form across the country including Delhi-NCR. Instead of taxis on the road, people will be seen traveling from one place to another in the same city by

air taxis. The future of air taxis was shown in the Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show (UMIS) being held at India Expo Center and Mart.
Companies presented their concepts regarding air taxi, its operation, vertiport (port of air taxi) etc. Some of these are ready for production in large numbers, while some will take tangible shape by next year.

Reach from one city to another in 15 to 20 minutes
In the next few years, people of Delhi NCR will be able to reach from one city to another in just 15 to 20 minutes, where today it takes them one and a half to two hours. Currently two types of air taxi models have been introduced. In one, five people including the pilot can sit and in the other, six people including the pilot can sit.

Can fly with 550 kg load
Five passengers in air taxi, speed of 150 Seahorse Air Limited introduced the concept of air taxi Seahorse H5. Company founder Anurag Gupta said that Seahorse H5 will be seen flying in the sky by March next year.

This taxi will take off and land vertically like a helicopter. It can be used as a passenger vehicle, joyrides, air cargo, air ambulance, search and rescue and coast guard. It can seat one pilot and four passengers. Once charged, it can cover a distance of 450 km. It can fly carrying a load of 550 kg.

Capable of flying at a height of 10 meters

Anurag Gupta said that this is the world’s first vertical take off and landing aircraft (EVTOL) which can fly even at a height of 10 meters. It can land in eight seconds in an emergency. No runway, airport, seaport is required for its landing and takeoff.

Airdock Vertiport will become a station, fare will be five rupees per km

Airpace Industries launched the concept of Airdock the Vertiport. Company’s Vice President Kapil Jain said that the operation of air taxi will be seen rapidly in the country in the coming few years. Airdocks will be built for their operation, charging, filling hydrogen, seating of passengers etc.

Speed ​​of 200 km per hour

Airdocks (stations) will be built by the company itself in major cities of the country. About 20 acres of land will be required for this. The construction of air taxis by the company is also in the final stage, which can fly at a speed of 200 km per hour and seat six people.

It will run on both green hydrogen and battery. It is being tested as a pilot project. The entire station will be equipped with a solar system, so that carbon emissions remain zero. The fare will be just five rupees per kilometer. There will be about 10 air taxis at each station. If the pilot project is successful, permission will be taken from the Civil Aviation Department for route determination.
