8th Pay Commission Updates: According to the possible recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary of central employees may increase from ₹ 18,000 to about ₹ 34,560, which is expected to provide great relief to employees and pensioners. Pension may also increase accordingly to ₹ 17,280. Keeping in mind inflation and economic conditions, the government may announce the 8th Pay Commission next year.

After the increase in dearness allowance for the July-December period, now central employees and pensioners are eagerly waiting for the announcement of the 8th Pay Commission. Given the tradition of announcing a new pay commission almost every 10 years, it is expected that the Center may take a decision on this soon. However, no official announcement has been made yet.

When will the 8th Pay Commission come!

8 vetan kab lagu hoga: It is estimated that the 8th Pay Commission may be announced early next year, possibly in the Union Budget 2025. According to a union leader, this may be an “appropriate time”, as the last time the 7th Pay Commission took 18 months to finalize the report, which was implemented from January 2016.

Increase in salary and pension expected:
The upcoming Pay Commission is expected to revise the salary and pension of government employees and pensioners, taking into account inflation and other economic factors.

How much can the salary increase:
If the recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission are implemented, the minimum salary of central employees is likely to be increased from ₹ 18,000 to about ₹ 34,560. This means that the minimum wage can increase by about 92%. Similarly, the minimum pension for pensioners may also increase to ₹ 17,280.

After this amendment, government employees and pensioners can get big relief based on inflation and other economic factors.

JCM meeting in November:

According to a report by NDTV Profit, it is reported that the meeting of the Joint Consultative Machinery (JCM), which is a forum for resolving disputes between the government and employees, will be held in November. The National Council of the JCM is chaired by the Union Cabinet Secretary, and its members include some representatives of recognised employee unions and service associations.

When was the last pay commission implemented:

In India, central government employees get their salary as per the pay commission structure. To begin with, the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) was set up by the Government of India on 28 February 2014.
