According to sources, the news came that the increase in DA will not be announced in September, but it can be implemented from October.

Will have to wait now
Central government employees and pensioners may have to wait more for dearness allowance. There were reports regarding the announcement of DA that it can be implemented from September. But now employees may have to wait for one more month. According to sources, the chances of getting any update regarding DA this month are a little less. For this, one will have to wait till Diwali. There are chances that the government can announce it before the festival.

If we look at the increase in DA according to 2022, on September 28, the DA rates were increased by four percent. This year Diwali was on October 24. Talking about last year, Dussehra was on October 24 and Diwali on November 12. During this time also the government had announced the increase before Diwali. In view of this, now it is being speculated that this time the increase in DA will also be announced before Diwali.

What is DA?

DA means dearness allowance which is also called dearness allowance. This is the amount given to government and non-government employees. In view of the rising inflation, the government has given the gift of DA to the employees. It is given by considering a certain percentage of the basic salary of the employee. Along with the basic salary, other amounts like house rent allowance are also added to the DA, after which the salary is formed.
