Vivo is going to launch its new X200 smartphone series globally. The series, which was first launched in China in October, will now be introduced in international markets on November 19, 2024. The company has also released a teaser of this smartphone, which suggests that it may also be launched in India soon.
Although three models were introduced in this series in China, it is expected to be introduced in the global market with only Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro models.
Global launch schedule
Vivo Malaysia has confirmed that the global launch of the X200 series will take place on November 19 at 7 pm local time. Pre-orders for these smartphones will start from November 22, three days after the launch. According to reports, Vivo X200 and X200 Pro are expected to get up to 32GB of RAM (16GB physical and 16GB virtual) and up to 512GB of storage. In the global market, Vivo X200 will come in two colours – Aurora Green and Midnight Black, while the Vivo X200 Pro will be available in Midnight Black and Titanium Grey colours.
Display and processor
The Vivo X200 Pro will have a 6.78-inch OLED display, which will support 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Vivo X200 will have a slightly smaller, 6.67-inch OLED display. Both models will use the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is expected to give the phone excellent performance. Apart from this, both devices will have up to 32GB of RAM.
Camera setup
Talking about camera features, Vivo X200 will have a triple camera setup, which will include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. At the same time, Vivo X200 Pro will also have a triple camera setup, but a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto lens has been added to it, which makes it even more special. It will also have a 50MP primary camera and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Both phones have a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
Battery and charging
The Vivo X200 will have a 5,800mAh battery, which will support 90W fast charging. At the same time, the Vivo X200 Pro will have a high capacity 6,000mAh battery, which guarantees long backup.
