Varanasi New Delhi Vande Bharat Express Train: For the first time, a 20 coach Vande Bharat train ran on the tracks between Varanasi and Prayagraj. When the Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat train left for Prayagraj from Cantt station, the entire train echoed with Har Har Mahadev.
The country’s first 20 coach Varanasi-New Delhi Vande Bharat train left for Prayagraj from Cantt station at 4.15 pm on Monday evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually flagged off Vande Bharat decorated with rose flowers. The train was flagged off by public representatives and railway officials from platform number one.
More than 1100 people including school children, people from social organizations and other passengers boarded all the coaches of the train. The train returned to Cantt station from Prayagraj at night. Under the inaugural run, the train covered a distance of 248 km on the first day. From Wednesday, train 22415/22416 will travel till New Delhi.
Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar, Registration Fee Minister Ravindra Jaiswal, Mayor Ashok Tiwari, General Manager Shobhan Chaudhuri, DRM SM Sharma, ADRM Lalji Chaudhary, Station Director Gaurav Dixit etc. were present in the program.
During the program at platform number one at Cantt station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the train virtually from Ahmedabad on the LED screen. Officials of social organizations, social media influencers including students from various schools and colleges boarded the train. Passengers said that the seats are comfortable and there are many other modern facilities. IRCTC also provided breakfast and dinner to the passengers.
Standing for 20 minutes due to technical fault
Vande Bharat stopped at Madhosingh railway station at 5.20 pm and some school children were disembarked here. Meanwhile, the train developed a technical fault. The train stood at Madhosingh for 20 minutes. After this, it moved forward and Vande Bharat reached Prayagraj station at 6.30 pm. Vande Bharat left Prayagraj at 7.20 pm and reached Cantt station at night.
Gate closed 45 minutes early, passengers angry
There was a lot of confusion about the timing of Vande Bharat. The gate of Vande Bharat was closed 45 minutes early. Meanwhile people remained inside the train. The train left at 4.15 pm. Passengers said that instead of closing 30 minutes early, the gate was closed 45 minutes early.
Evening Vande Bharat left from platform number two, passengers were confused
Actually, the 22435 Vande Bharat train which was to leave at 3 pm left from platform number two. Inaugural Vande Bharat was on platform number one. In such a situation, many passengers were confused. Many passengers also missed the train.

DRM tested the facilities by posing as a passenger, overcharging found in the toilet
DRM of Northern Railway Lucknow Division SM Sharma inspected the passenger facilities at the station in the morning. Vande Bharat Express reached Banaras from Agra
Vande Bharat train reached Banaras station on Monday night from Taj city Agra. During this, public representatives and railway officials welcomed the passengers.
