Both the main stock exchanges of the market, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) have announced a holiday on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. All segments will remain closed
Apart from BSE and NSE, there will be no trading in derivatives, equities, SLBs, currency derivatives and interest rate derivatives segments. However, today only the morning session of the commodity derivatives segment will remain closed and trading will take place in the evening session. The morning session of the commodity derivatives segment is from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and the evening session is from 5:00 pm to 11:55 pm.
When will the market open
Today is Friday and the market is closed every Saturday and Sunday. This means that now trading will start in NSE and BSE on Monday 18 November 2024. On this day the market will open at its usual time i.e. 9.15 am and will close at 3.30 pm.
When will there be a holiday
According to the BSE website, there is no additional holiday after November 15. However, the stock market will remain closed on December 25 due to Christmas. Apart from this, the market will also remain closed on November 20 due to assembly elections in Maharashtra this month. BSE and NSE have announced a holiday for November 20.

The stock market closed in the red on November 14 due to the continued selling by foreign investors in the stock market and rising inflation. The Sensex closed at 77,580.31 points with a decline of 110.64 points. Nifty also fell 26.35 points or 0.11 percent to reach 23,532.70 points.
