The police has been investigating the matter ever since the firing outside Salman Khan’s house recently. Now the sixth accused has also been arrested in this case. The police is going to present the accused Harpal Singh, resident of Haryana, in the court on Tuesday.
Investigation is still going on in the case of firing that took place outside the house of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan last month. It is being told that now Mumbai Police has arrested another member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the case. Officials gave this information on Tuesday. An officer said that the accused has been identified as 34-year-old Harpal Singh.
A total of 6 people were arrested
According to reports, Harpal is a resident of Fatehabad, Haryana. It is reported that a team of Mumbai Crime Branch arrested the accused from his hometown on Monday evening. He told that Harpal Singh was brought to Mumbai early on Tuesday and he will be presented in the court on May 14. Mumbai Police has so far arrested a total of 6 people in this case.
The firing took place on 14 April
It is noteworthy that on April 14, two motorcycle-riding people opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence in Galaxy Apartment in Bandra area of Mumbai and then fled from the spot. This entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house. Since then the matter is being investigated rapidly. Shortly after the firing, the police arrested the members of Bishnoi gang.
Accused Mohammad Rafiq had given information
Now the officer told that during interrogation, another member of Bishnoi gang and accused Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary had exposed the involvement of Harpal Singh in this case. Police had arrested Rafiq Chaudhary earlier this month. Police said that Harpal had asked Rafiq Chaudhary to do ‘Reiki’ around Salman Khan’s residence and had also given him Rs 2 to 3 lakh for this work.
The names of Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, currently lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have come up in the firing case. It is believed that Anmol is in America or Canada.
