LPG cylinder prices
LPG cylinder prices are updated on the first of every month. The oil company updates the prices of commercial gas cylinders and domestic gas cylinders.
A change in the prices of both these cylinders can be seen on September 1. In August, the oil marketing companies kept the price of domestic cylinders stable and increased the price of commercial cylinders by Rs 8.50.
ATF and CNG-PNG price
Along with LPG cylinders, oil companies also update the prices of aviation fuel i.e. Air Turbine Fuel (ATF) and CNG-PNG. Their prices may also change on 1 September 2024.
TRAI New Rule
TRAI has directed telecom companies to stop fake calls and messages. TRAI has also issued strict guidelines for this. TRAI has directed telecom companies like Jio, Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL etc. to shift telemarketing calls and commercial messaging starting from 140 mobile number series to blockchain based DLT i.e. Distributed Laser Technology platform by 30 September. After the new guidelines of TRAI, it is expected that fake calls and messages will be banned from 1 September.
Credit Card Rules
The country’s largest bank HDFC Bank is going to change the credit card rules from September 1. The bank will set a limit on reward points on utility transactions. Apart from this, the bank will no longer give any reward points for making educational payments through third party apps.
The minimum amount payable on IDFC First Bank credit card is going to be reduced from September 2024. The bank has also reduced the payment date to 15 days which was earlier 18 days. Apart from this, if you use RuPay credit card for UPI payment from September 1, then customers will get the same reward points as the credit cards of other payment service providers.
Dearness Allowance (DA Hike)
It is expected that the central government may announce dearness allowance in September. This time also government employees are expecting that there will be a 3 percent increase in dearness allowance. If there is a 3 percent increase in DA, then DA will become 53 percent
Aadhaar Card Free Updation
UIDAI has set the deadline for updating Aadhaar card for free as 14 September. This means that after 14 September, there will be a charge for updating Aadhaar card online. Currently, charges are levied only on offline updates.
