If reports are to be believed, the actress has been roped in as the leading lady in South superstar Mahesh Babu’s next film ‘SSMB 29’. The much-awaited project is being directed by ‘RRR’ maker SS Rajamouli.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Sunday. She was headed to Hyderabad, where it is believed that ‘SSMB 29’ will be shot. The actress caught the attention of fans in a neon green co-ord set. After reaching Hyderabad, she shared a short clip on her Instagram Stories. However, movie lovers are still awaiting official confirmation.
Mahesh Babu’s film is said to be inspired by Lord Hanuman. If reports are to be believed, the ambitious film will be made on a massive budget of Rs 900-1,000 crore. The much-awaited film is expected to be made in two parts.
With ‘SSMB29’, Priyanka Chopra will return to Telugu cinema after a long gap of 23 years. She was last seen in P. Ravishankar’s 2002 romantic entertainer ‘Apuroopam’. Apart from this, the actress’ last Bollywood release was Shonali Bose’s 2016 drama ‘The Sky Is Pink’.
With ‘SSMB 29’, Priyanka Chopra has joined hands with her husband Nick Jonas and the Jonas brothers for a holiday film. Apart from this, the actress will also be a part of the second season of her blockbuster show ‘Citadel’.
