PM Modi will be on a tour of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh tomorrow. During this, he will visit Deekshabhoomi in Nagpur and pay tribute to Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. At the same time, he will also give a gift of Rs 33 thousand crore to Chhattisgarh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a tour of Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh on Sunday, the first day of Chaitra Navratri. During this, he will participate in the Pratipada program at the Smriti Mandir of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in Nagpur. Then he will go to Deekshabhoomi and pay tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar, where he adopted Buddhism along with thousands of his followers in 1956. At the same time, he will also gift schemes worth Rs 33 thousand crore to Chhattisgarh.

According to the program released by the government, after visiting Smriti Mandir and Deekshabhoomi, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of Madhav Netralaya Premium Center in Nagpur at around 10 am. The institute was established in the memory of Guruji Shri Madhavrao Sadashivrao Golwalkar, with the aim of providing affordable and world-class eye treatment services to the people. He will also address a public meeting here. Then, he will inaugurate the Loitering Munition Testing Range and Runway Facility for UAVs at Solar Defense and Aerospace Ltd., also located in Nagpur.

PM Modi will arrive in Chhattisgarh in the afternoon and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects related to power, oil and gas, rail, road, education and housing sectors. He will lay the foundation stone of NTPC’s Sipat Super Thermal Power Project Phase-3 and Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Ltd. (CSPGCL)’s first super critical thermal power project costing over Rs 15,800 crore.

Lay foundation stone for clean energy solutions

In view of India’s net-zero carbon emission targets, reducing air pollution and providing clean energy solutions, PM will lay the foundation stone of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.’s City Gas Distribution Project in Koriya, Surajpur, Balrampur and Surguja districts. PM will also lay the foundation stone of seven railway projects with a total length of 108 km and dedicate three railway projects with a total length of 111 km to the nation.

Will hand over house keys to housing scheme beneficiaries

Griha Pravesh of 3 lakh beneficiaries will also be held under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G). The Prime Minister will hand over the keys to some beneficiaries under this scheme. Apart from this, the PM will also inaugurate two major educational initiatives aimed at ensuring education for all. This includes opening of 130 PM Shri Schools in 29 districts of the state and Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) in Raipur.
