PM Awas Yojana: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) was launched in the year 2016. Its objective is to provide 2.95 crore pucca houses with basic amenities to all homeless families and families living in kutcha and dilapidated houses in rural areas.

 PM Awas Yojana: The dream of owning a house is about to be fulfilled. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), PM Modi will release the first installment of own house for 10 lakh beneficiaries. The Prime Minister will issue acceptance letters to beneficiaries of different states in the coming days.

In fact, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), PM Modi will transfer the acceptance letter and first installment to about 10 lakh beneficiaries of Jharkhand, Gujarat, Odisha and other states next week.

The dream of a new house will be fulfilled

PM will release the acceptance letter and transfer the first installment of PMAY-G at a national level program organized in Odisha on September 17. He will digitally transfer the first installment of Rs 3180 crore directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. This will fulfill the dream of 26 lakh beneficiaries of their new house.

PM will also launch the ‘Awas + 2024’ app during this time. The purpose of this app is to ensure allocation of pucca houses by including eligible beneficiaries in the list.

According to the Rural Development Ministry, Odisha has been given a target of 22,572 houses in the current financial year. An amount of Rs 41.32 crore has been released for this.

There will also be a housewarming ceremony

At the same time, PM Modi will give acceptance letters to about 20 thousand beneficiaries of the state in a program in Jharkhand on September 15 and will transfer an amount of more than Rs 5 crore directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Graha Pravesh ceremony of newly constructed houses of 46 thousand beneficiaries will also be organized.

The ministry said that Jharkhand has been given the target of building 1.13 lakh houses. For this, Rs 187.79 crore has been released in the current financial year.

Similarly, on September 16, the Prime Minister will transfer an amount of about Rs 93 crore to the accounts of 31 thousand beneficiaries of Gujarat. There will also be a griha pravesh ceremony of about 35 thousand ready houses.
