Bollywood socialite and social media influencer Ori aka Orhan Avatramani is in trouble. A case has been registered against Ori and 7 others for drinking alcohol in a hotel in Vaishno Devi’s base camp Katra. According to the law, selling, keeping and drinking alcohol in Katra is strictly prohibited. Police gave this information on Monday.
Ori’s video of partying goes viral
There has been no reaction from Ori on this whole matter so far. On March 15, a video of Ori went viral on social media. In which he was seen partying with his friends in a private hotel. A bottle of alcohol was also seen in this video. After watching this video of Ori, he is also facing trolling on social media.
What did the police say?
Jammu and Kashmir Police said in its statement that an FIR has been registered against all these 8 people for ‘violating the law of the country’. Also, a team has been formed which will arrest them for ‘hurting the sentiments of the people’. Katra Police had received a complaint on March 15 that some guests staying in a hotel were found drinking alcohol in violation of the rules on the premises. After this, an FIR was registered against these 8 people.
A police officer quoted the complaint and said that “Orhan Avatramani, Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Hrithik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli and Anastasila Arzamaskina drank alcohol in the hotel premises. Whereas they were already informed that drinking alcohol and eating non-veg food is not allowed in the hotel premises due to its proximity to Mata Vaishno Devi temple.”
He said, “Looking at the seriousness of the matter, Senior Superintendent of Police of Reasi, Paramveer Singh has ordered the arrest of the culprits. So that people know that any such activity that hurts the sentiments of the people will not be tolerated at the religious place. Who is Ori? Ori is a social media star.
