Mumbai: There is important news for Mumbaikars travelling by local. Central Railway will take 2 days of special night traffic and power block for section conversion between Diva and Mumbra stations. Meanwhile, a mega block has been announced on Sunday for maintenance and repair work. Due to this block, services at many suburban stations will be disrupted. Some mail trains have been diverted.
Delay between Diva-Mumbra
Central Railway has announced a special night power block for rail section conversion between Diva and Mumbra stations. This block will be taken up on the fast line from 1 am on Sunday to 5 am on Monday. The second block will be taken up from 1 am on Tuesday to 5 am on Wednesday. During the block, some mails will run on the 6th fast line between Diva and Thane.
Mega block on Central Railway
- Central Railway: CSMT – Vidyavihar (Up and Down Slow Line)
- Block duration: Sunday 10:55 am to 3:55 pm
- Result: Services will not be available at Masjid, Sandhurst Road, Chinchpokli and Curry Road stations during this period.
- Down services: Down slow services departing from CSMT between 10:48 am and 3:45 pm will be diverted to the down fast route.
Block on Harbor Road
Harbour Route: Thane – Vashi / Nerul (Trans-Harbour Route)
Block duration: Sunday 11:10 am to 4:10 pm
Result: Services on the up and down trans-harbour route between Thane and Vashi/Nerul/Panvel will be cancelled.
