Atal Setu Toll Price: PM Modi will inaugurate the Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link (MTHL) in Mumbai tomorrow i.e. on Friday. It has been named Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu. This is the longest sea bridge in the country, whose length is 21.8 kilometers. This bridge connects Mumbai City to Nhava Sheva area of ​​Navi Mumbai. PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the bridge in December 2016. More than Rs 17,840 crore has been spent in its preparation. Traffic will run in six lanes on this bridge.

16.5 km length over bridge

The length of the bridge is about 16.5 km on sea and about 5.5 km on land. With the inauguration of the bridge, traffic in Mumbai is expected to improve significantly. With its launch, the journey between South Mumbai and Navi Mumbai will reduce to 20 minutes. Currently, it takes two hours for Mumbaikars to travel this route. This bridge will also play an important role in the economic development of Mumbai. With this, the industrial sector of Raigarh can be easily reached.

The 100 km per hour speed

bridge has been built on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis. The bridge will be operated and maintained by Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link Corporation (MTHL). People are very happy before the inauguration of the bridge. With the opening of this bridge, travel from Mumbai to Pune, Goa and South will also become easier. On this, cars will be able to operate at a maximum speed of 100 km per hour.

Toll Rate:

If you travel by MTHL, you will have to pay a toll of Rs 250 for a one-way journey. There is a charge of Rs 375 for round trip. The government says that the toll will be reviewed after one year. Currently, toll has to be paid on Bandra-Worli Sea Link at Rs 85 and Rs 127 for round trip. Driving bikes, autos and tractors will be prohibited on MTHL. 177,903 metric tons of steel and 504,253 metric tons of cement have been used in making it.
