Maratha Reservation: After all the demands were accepted by the Maharashtra government, Maratha reservation activist Manoj Jarange Patil ended his fast in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde amidst a huge crowd of supporters. Activist Manoj Jarange, who was agitating demanding reservation for the people of Maratha community, announced to end his protest on Saturday and said that the Maharashtra government has accepted all his demands.

What did Manoj Jarange say?
Jarange expressed satisfaction that the government has issued a notification to issue Kunbi caste certificates to all the relatives of people of Maratha community whose records (belonging to Kunbi caste) have been found. He announced this in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. He reached Vashi on Friday night and he and thousands of his supporters stayed there throughout the night.
