A unique Guinness World Record was created on the occasion of the ongoing Tadoba festival in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. Here a record was created by writing ‘Bharatmata’ with the help of 65 thousand 724 plants. Bharatmata was written using 26 types of indigenous species of plants. This event was organized on the initiative of Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar with the aim of promoting environmental protection.
A three-day Tadoba festival was organized in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. On this occasion, a unique Guinness World Record was made in Chandrapur. ‘Bharatmata’ was written using 26 types of indigenous plants and with the help of a total of 65 thousand 734 plants. This event was organized at Rambagh Forest Colony Ground of the city.
This event was organized by Maharashtra Forest Department. During this time a team from Guinness Book of World Records was present. After the team examined the complete findings regarding the record, it was declared a world record and its certificate was handed over to Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar.
Efforts to promote employment through tourism
To promote Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve globally, Tadoba Mahotsav has started from March 1 at Chanda Club ground in Chandrapur city. Through this, the Forest Department is trying to promote employment through tourism in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve.
Will inspire the future work of the forest department
Mungantiwar said that the concept of making Tadoba a center of environmental awareness and world records is an initiative. Through this, it will inspire the future work of the Forest Department. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target of zero carbon emissions for India by 2070.

Mungantiwar expressed confidence that Maharashtra Forest Department will perform best in the country through this world record.
