Maharashtra Lok Sabha Election 2024: Lok Sabha Elections 2024 have been announced in Maharashtra. Lok Sabha elections will be held in Maharashtra in five phases. Voting will be held in the first phase on 26 April and in the last phase on 25 May. Apart from this, votes will be cast on 26 April, 7 May, 13 May, 20 May and 25 May.

On which seat and when will voting take place in Maharashtra?

First phase: Voting- April 19: Ramtek, Nagpur, Bhandara-Gondia, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur (5 in Vidarbha)

Second phase: Voting- April 26: Buldhana, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Yavatmal-Washim, Hingoli, Nanded, Parbhani (Total constituencies- 8)

Third Phase: Voting- May 7: Raigad, Baramati, Dharashiv, Latur, Solapur, Madha, Sangli, Satara, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Hatkanangle (Total Constituencies – 11)

Phase IV: May 13: Nanded, Jalgaon, Rawer, Jalna, Aurangabad, Mawal, Pune, Shiroor, Ahmednagar, Shirdi, Beed (Total Constituencies – 11)

Fifth phase: May 20: Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Thane, Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South Central and Mumbai South (Total constituencies – 13)

Results of 2019 Lok Sabha elections:

Maharashtra has the highest number of 48 Lok Sabha seats after UP. If we talk about the last Lok Sabha elections on these seats , BJP had won the maximum number of seats from here. BJP had won 23 Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections. After this, Shiv Sena stood second by winning 18 seats. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) won 4 seats, Congress won 1 seat. All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) also won 1 seat. Apart from this, one seat was won by an independent candidate Navneet Rana from Amravati.
