Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar has made a big statement. He said that the NCP is committed to secular politics and will not allow attempts to spread religious hatred in Maharashtra. He also gave an update on the Ladli Bahin scheme. Pawar said that eligible beneficiaries will get their monthly allowance next month.
Ajit Pawar’s appeal to women
NCP chief Ajit Pawar urged ineligible female beneficiaries of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana (Ladli Bahan Yojana) to voluntarily withdraw as the scheme is designed for economically deprived women.
He said, “People who pay income tax are also taking advantage of the scheme. They should give up the benefit themselves. ”
Mentioned secularism
After inaugurating the NCP district office in Jalna, the Deputy Chief Minister said, “Maharashtra has always been a symbol of progressive ideas and social harmony. NCP is in favor of unity and secularism. We will not tolerate those who sow the seeds of hatred among different communities and those involved in divisive politics.”
Ajit Pawar said that the NCP led by him will not appoint tainted persons. He said, “I urge the party members not to include tainted persons in our party.”
Ajit Pawar targets the opposition over EVMs
On the opposition raising questions on the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Ajit Pawar said, “When they (opposition parties) win elections in Karnataka and West Bengal, they praise EVMs. But when they lose, they blame the same machines.” Along with this, he called upon NCP workers to be ready for the local body elections.
