Women beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana are now looking forward to the February installment. Under this scheme, women get Rs 1500 deposited in their bank accounts every month. Now a new update has come out regarding this scheme. It is being said that the beloved sisters will not have to wait long for the February installment.
The February installment is also likely to be available soon. Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar gave a big update in this regard. On Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was on a tour of Nashik district. Ajit Pawar said that the Ladki Bahin scheme will not be closed and that he has signed the cheque for the February fund. It is being said that due to this, the way has been cleared to get the February installment.
Income tax help for eligibility criteria…
Sources informed that the government has decided to exclude beneficiaries from this scheme who are benefiting from various other schemes and those whose income is more than Rs 2.5 lakh as per the Income Tax Department.
Now every year in June, beneficiaries will have to provide all the information through e-KYC. As many as 2 crore 63 lakh beloved sisters registered in this scheme. Out of which 2 crore 41 lakh women were eligible. While still 11 lakh applications are pending scrutiny and 11 lakh applications are pending linking with Aadhaar.
The government had disqualified five lakh sisters who had taken advantage of the scheme by violating the norms last week. Sources informed that a decision to make some amendments in the scheme was taken in a recent cabinet meeting to check the wastefulness of the scheme.
