Jio Superhit Plan: Mukesh Ambani's new superhit plan, users will have a lot of fun

Jio superhit plan: Many customers upset with expensive mobile networks like Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea (Vi) turned to government telecom company BSNL, which did not increase prices in July.

But now there are many problems in BSNL’s network and there is no 4G network, due to which these customers are returning to Airtel and Jio. According to the Economic Times report, this is what analysts and shopkeepers say.

Solution to network problem in villages!

Many people in the villages of India are going back from BSNL to Airtel and Jio. This is happening because BSNL’s network is not very good and its 4G network is also weak. At the same time, Vi has not yet started 5G services. Therefore, people feel that Airtel and Jio are better options.

The number of customers moving to BSNL after the price hike by the top 3 (private) telecom companies in July has now reduced. Some shopkeepers have already reported that people are moving back to Jio and Bharti Airtel due to the poor quality of BSNL’s network, IFL Securities said in a research note seen by ET.

After raising prices by 11-25% in early July, Jio, Airtel and Vi had lost around 758,000, 16.9 lakh and 14.1 lakh subscribers respectively by the end of July, while BSNL had added over 29.3 lakh subscribers as it did not raise prices. But now this trend is changing and now people are going back to Jio and Airtel.

Latest TRAI data shows that the number of new subscribers getting BSNL has come down from 29.3 lakh in July to just 0.8 lakh in September. And this is when BSNL’s plans are much cheaper than Jio and Airtel. For example, BSNL’s Rs 199 plan gives 2GB data daily for 28 days, which is 43% cheaper than Jio’s Rs 349 plan and 47% cheaper than Airtel’s Rs 379 plan, say analysts.
