IRCTC Shri Ramayana Yatra: There is good news for Ram devotees. IRCTC has launched a tour package of 18 days and 17 nights, in which devotees will get a chance to see the places and temples associated with Lord Ram. This train is being run in the name of Shri Ramayana Yatra, which will leave from Safdarjung Railway Station of Delhi on June 7. This yatra has been organized for the devotees earlier also.

Devotees will go on a journey of 18 days

For the devotees of Ram, this Shri Ramayana Yatra is going to last for a total of 18 days and 17 nights, in which many important places related to the life of Lord Ram are going to be visited. The first stop of the yatra will be Ayodhya, the birthplace of Shri Ram, where Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Shri Hanumangarhi Temple and Bharat Temple in Nandigram will be visited.

Departing from Ayodhya, this train will go to Sitamarhi, where one can visit Janaki’s birthplace and Ram-Janaki temple located in Janakpur, Nepal. After this, Ramrekha Ghat and Rameshwarnath temple will also be visited in Buxar. The next stop of the train will be Varanasi, the city of Lord Shiva, from where passengers will travel by buses to the famous temples here including Sita Samhit Sthal, Prayag, Shringverpur and Chitrakoot.

Rameshwaram will be the last stop

After Chitrakoot, this train will reach Nashik, where passengers will be able to visit Panchavati and Trimbakeshwar temples. After Nashik, the ancient Kishkindha city of Hampi will be the next stop of this train, where the birthplace of Shri Hanuman located at Anjani mountain and other important religious and heritage temples will be visited. The last stop of this train will be Rameshwaram. Here Ram devotees will be able to visit the ancient Shiva temple and Dhanushkodi.

Passengers are going to travel about 7600 kilometers in this Ramayana Yatra. For which they may have to spend Rs 96 thousand to Rs 1.66 lakh per person.
The fare for AC first class coupe will be Rs 1,66,810, for AC first class cabin you will have to pay Rs 1,45,745, for AC second class you will have to pay Rs 1,34,710 and for AC third class you will have to pay Rs 96,575.
