IndiGo Airline Controversy! IndiGo tried to bribe Rs 6000... podcaster's post went viral

Prakhar Gupta X Post: In his X post, Prakhar Gupta accused IndiGo that the airline paid him Rs 6000 to delete his tweet. This matter came to light after a 15 minute change in the flight timings.

IndiGo Airline Controversy: Famous podcaster Prakhar Gupta has accused Indigo Airlines of paying him money to delete a tweet. Prakhar Gupta tweeted against Indigo Airlines because his flight timing was advanced by 15 minutes without informing him. After this, the airline closed the check-in counters, then forced him to buy a new ticket. Prakhar Gupta alleges that the airline staff treated him very badly.

Informed through a text message at 4 am

Prakhar Gupta claimed through an ex-post that his flight timing was changed from 6:45 am to 6:30 am. Information about this change was given through a text message at 4 am. He said that despite reaching the airport on time, he was refused to check-in. Also, he alleged that the behavior of the ground staff was very bad. He also said that while filing the complaint, the staff was playing objectionable private voice messages on the speaker and laughing at him.

Question raised on ticket change fee
Prakhar also raised questions about the ticket change fee. He claimed that he was told that the charge for a new ticket is Rs 40,000. But he was given a ticket at a ‘discount’ of Rs 3,000 per passenger. He called it suspicious and asked, ‘90% discount? That too without asking for it? This is very strange.’ In a tweet by IndiGo, it was said that the airline is currently looking into the matter and will contact you soon to resolve it.’

Asked to delete the tweet by giving Rs 6,000
Prakhar Gupta said, when his post started going viral, IndiGo Airlines gave him Rs 6,000 and asked him to delete the tweet. Prakhar Gupta said that the airline did not even apologize to him. Prakhar Gupta has asked the CEO of Indigo Airlines to come on his podcast. He said that he will take the CEO to his studio in first class and show him how people in the country respect different opinions. Then they will talk about what happened.

IndiGo’s side
In a statement issued by IndiGo in this entire matter, it was said that due to Republic Day, some rules were implemented in the airspace. Due to this, the timings of all airlines flying from Delhi were changed. We had informed the passengers about these changes ahead of time. Our team tried its best to help the passengers whose flight timings were changed. A passenger had to take another flight due to reaching the airport after the flight time. For this, he had to pay some money. Later, the airline refunded that money.
