Indian Railway Rule: Diwali festival is about to come in the country. For this, crores of people are preparing to go to their homes. In such a situation, passengers should know about these rules of railways once before traveling in the train. If you are thinking of carrying flammable things like firecrackers and sparklers in the train on Diwali, then stop here. Passengers can be fined for doing this. If a passenger is caught with banned items, then action will be taken against him under section 164 of the Railway Act.
What can not be taken on the train?
Stoves and gas cylinders cannot be carried during train travel. Apart from this, firecrackers, acid, smelly items, leather or wet skin, oil or grease brought in packages, things that can break or leak or cause harm to the passengers, all these are banned in the train. According to the rules of the Railways, passengers can carry up to 20 kg of ghee in the train, but the ghee must be properly packed in a tin box.
How much will the fine be?
If any passenger in the train has any of these things, he will be fined. Under section 164, the passenger can be fined up to Rs 1000 or jailed for up to three years.

Railways released video
To make passengers aware of the rules of travelling in trains, the railway has released a video. This is an animated video, in the video a passenger is shown boarding the train.
