ICICI Bank Credit Card: These changes in the rules of ICICI Bank’s credit card will come into effect from November 15 and after this you will have to spend less on many types of payments than before.

ICICI Bank Credit Card: Crores of users in the country use credit cards and people are interested in the changes coming in them from time to time. ICICI Bank is also among the names of the most private bank credit card users in the country.

If you also have an ICICI Bank credit card, then this news is important for you. One day later i.e. from November 15, 2024, the rules of ICICI Bank’s credit card are going to change and there are many rules in it which are going to benefit you.

Know which rules have changed

  • No charge on educational transactions
  • Change in the charge levied on late payment of card fee
  • New types of charges on utility and fuel payments
  • No charge on educational transactions with ICICI Bank credit card

From now on, no charge will be levied for paying international education or school-college fees through credit card. However, if you make such fees or educational transactions through third party apps, then you will have to pay a fee of 1 percent.

Change in late payment charges from November 15

Now the charges will change for late payment of ICICI Bank credit card bill. Know about them-

  • Rs 101 to Rs 500 – Rs 100 charge
  • Rs 501 to Rs 1,000 – Rs 500 charge
  • Rs 1,001 to Rs 5,000 – Rs 600 charge
  •  Rs 5,001 to Rs 10,000 – Rs 750 charge
  •  Rs 10,001 to Rs 25,000 – Rs 900 charge
  •  Rs 25,001 to Rs 50,000 – Rs 1100 charge
  •  More than Rs 50,000 – Rs 1300 charge

Special thing- It is important to note that if the outstanding amount is up to Rs 100, then there will be no late payment fee on it.

Other charges on utility and fuel payments

If you make a utility payment of more than Rs 50,000 using a credit card, you will have to pay a charge of 1 per cent.

If you make a fuel payment transaction of more than Rs 1,000, you will have to pay a charge of 1 per cent on it.

The overdue interest on extended credit and cash advances will be charged at 3.75 per cent for one month, while the annual interest rate on this will be 4.5 per cent.
