DMRC implemented these rules

Let us tell you that even though firecrackers are banned in Delhi, but even if there was no ban, you could not carry firecrackers while traveling in Delhi Metro. According to DMRC, you cannot carry firecrackers or any flammable items in the metro. Regarding this, DMRC shared a video in the year 2022 and told people that firecrackers cannot be taken in the metro and if found doing so, strict action will be taken against them.

Ban on firecrackers in Delhi

At the same time, the Delhi government has banned firecrackers during Diwali this year too in view of the pollution in the city. This rule will remain in force till January 1, 2025. Under this rule, the production, storage, sale and use of firecrackers has been completely banned, as well as selling it online has also been banned.

May have to pay fine

The Delhi government has said that if a person is caught burning firecrackers despite the ban, he may have to face a jail term of up to 6 months and a fine of up to Rs 200. Apart from this, if anyone is found selling, making or storing firecrackers, he may face a fine of up to Rs 5000 and a jail term of up to 3 years.
