DDA Dwarka Housing Scheme E-Auction- DDA will start e-auction of flats under Dwarka Housing Scheme from September 24. More than 2,000 people have deposited Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for 173 flats.
Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to start e-auction of flats under Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024 from tomorrow i.e. 24 September. This auction will be for flats of Penthouse, Super HIG, HIG, and MIG categories, which are built in various sectors of Dwarka. The e-auction will be held from 11 am to 12 noon and from 3 pm to 4 pm. DDA launched three new housing schemes – Affordable Home Scheme, Middle Class Housing Scheme and Dwarka Housing Scheme on 20 August. 173 flats in Dwarka Housing Scheme will be sold through e-auction. DDA is selling 7,124 EWS and LIG flats in the affordable house scheme.
The flats of affordable house and middle class housing scheme were sold on ‘first come, first serve’ basis. At the same time, houses in Dwarka Housing Scheme will be sold through e-auction. The last date for depositing the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for this scheme was September 17 and the last date for submitting the application was September 19. More than 2,000 people have deposited EMD for 173 flats in Dwarka.
E-auction will start at 11 am
According to a circular issued by DDA, “The e-auction will be held from 11 am to 12 noon and 3 pm to 4 pm daily from September 24-26. Initially the bidding process will last for one hour. If a higher bid is placed in the last 5 minutes, the process will be automatically extended for 5 minutes. This process will be repeated up to a maximum of 20 times, which can take the total duration of the auction to 2 hours and 40 minutes.”
More than 2,000 people deposited EMD
A DDA official said, “More than 2,000 people have deposited EMD for 173 flats in Dwarka, so we hope that all the flats will be sold easily. Sales of flats under affordable housing and middle-class schemes are also likely to increase during Navratri.” So far, about 1,700 of the 8,967 flats offered by the DDA have been sold. The official said that 41 flats in Jasola were sold on the first day itself, and more than 700 flats in Rohini have been sold within 10 days on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
