Uddhav Thackeray had given a statement regarding the name of Nitin Gadkari in the candidate list. It
is noteworthy that Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray had targeted the name of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for not being included in the first candidate list of BJP. He called it an ‘insult’ to Nitin Gadkari and suggested him to leave BJP. Not only this, Uddhav Thackeray offered Nitin Gadkari to join MVA and said that if his government is formed, he will give Gadkari a bigger post.

After this, Devendra Fadnavis countered this statement and replied to Uddhav Thackeray. He said that there was no mention of any seat in Maharashtra in the first candidate list of BJP because churning over the names of the candidates was going on. Candidates for Maharashtra seats will be announced in the second list of the party.

While waiting for the candidates of India Alliance
if we talk about seat sharing of India Alliance, there are many complications in it. Discussions are going on on 10 seats between Congress and Uddhav Thackeray. At the same time, differences of opinion still continue between Congress, NCP Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray for five seats.
