Locker rent has changed in banks

Actually, changes have been made in the rent of bank locker facilities and some rules related to security and nomination, which are going to be implemented in the country’s top banks like State Bank of India (SBI), ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Punjab National Bank (PNB). Know here, how much fee you will have to pay to use the locker of these banks. In all banks, the locker rent has been fixed according to its size and area.

State Bank of India, i.e. SBI

  • Semi metro-rural areas: Small locker starts from ₹1500
  • Metro-urban areas: Big locker up to ₹12000

ICICI Bank

  • Rural areas: Starts from ₹1200
  • Metro areas: Big locker up to ₹22000

HDFC Bank

  • In cities: Locker charges range from ₹1500 to ₹7000
  • Rural areas: ₹550 to ₹3000In
  • metro cities: ₹1350 to ₹10000

Punjab National Bank, i.e. PNB

  • Rural areas: Small locker starts from ₹1250
  • Metro areas: Small locker starts from ₹2000 – Big locker ₹5000 to ₹10000
