Aadhaar card: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has once again extended the deadline for updating Aadhaar information free of cost to provide better service to the country’s 138 crore (1.38 billion) Aadhaar holders. UIDAI has extended the deadline for free update of Aadhaar data from December 14, 2024 to June 14, 2025.

Due to this extension, Aadhaar holders will be able to change their card details online for free. Let us tell you that to maintain the accuracy of demographic information, UIDAI has repeatedly extended the deadline to encourage individuals to keep the documents updated in their Aadhaar details.

Aadhaar update deadline
The statutory authority of the Aadhaar Act, 2016 mentioned, ‘UIDAL has extended the free online document upload facility till June 14, 2025 to benefit millions of Aadhaar number holders.
