An Air India spokesperson said, ‘On February 12, one of our guests traveling from New York to Mumbai fell ill with his wife while on his way to clear immigration. The elderly passenger had asked for a wheelchair. Due to heavy demand for the wheelchair, we requested the passenger to wait for a while but he chose to walk along with his wife. In such a situation, the elderly walked to the immigration counter. In such a situation his condition worsened. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died.
