OPPO launched the Find N5 foldable phone, which is the thinnest foldable phone. It has a 6.62-inch FHD+ and 8.12-inch 2K display, 50MP triple camera setup, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 5,600mAh battery.
As expected, OPPO has launched its fourth generation book-style foldable phone Find N5 in the global market. Before the launch, OPPO had teased a lot about this handset. Earlier, the company launched the Find N3 in the year 2023. Now after two years, the brand has launched this handset with many upgrades. Regarding Find N5, the company claims that it is the thinnest foldable phone in the market. Earlier Honor Magic V3 was being called the thinnest foldable phone. OPPO Find N5 has been launched in Misty White and Cosmic Black colors. However, for China, the brand is also offering Dusk Purple color shade. This phone has been launched in only one 16GB + 512GB RAM variant. Its pre-order is starting today from 21 February and its sale will start from 28 February. It is not yet known whether OPPO Find N5 will be available to buy in India or not. On the other hand, OnePlus has confirmed that it is not releasing Open 2 this year. This means that OPPO will get sole reign for its foldable phone.
What are the features of OPPO Find N5
Display: The internal screen of OPPO Find N5 is 6.62 inch FHD+ and the external screen is 2K, 8.12 inch. Both screens have AMOLED panel, whose refresh rate is 120Hz LTPO. A stylus pen is also provided with it.
Design: Compared to Oppo’s previous foldable handset, there is no significant difference in the design. A circular camera module is given at the back, as is also seen in the old phone. It has a side mounted fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in the power button. Along with this, an alert slider is also given on the left side of the phone. Find N5 has received IPX6/IPX8/IPX9 rating, which means it can withstand high pressure water jets as well.
Camera: Oppo’s foldable phone has a triple camera setup. In this, users will get a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 50MP periscope lens with 6x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom in the Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup. There is an 8MP selfie snapper on both the inside and outside screens.
Processor, RAM and Storage: Oppo’s new phone runs on Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
Battery: Find N5 is also strong in terms of battery. It has a 5,600mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Software: This phone is coming with Android 15, which has many AI features. With this, four OS updates and security patches will be available for five years. This device is also coming with O+ Connect for connection with Mac and iPhones.
