PAN Card News: If you do not link your PAN card to your Aadhaar card before December 31, then you may get into trouble. If you fail to do so, then your PAN card can be deactivated, which can increase your troubles further.
The order comes after a rise in incidents of financial fraud, as several fintech companies were allegedly using PAN data to create customer profiles without proper user consent, raising serious concerns. To prevent personal information from being misused, the Home Ministry directed the Income Tax Department to restrict access to personal data through PAN.
