DDA has extended the deadline for payment of final installment for more than 1,800 premium flats in Dwarka 19B. The authority has taken this decision due to the request of the buyers.
There is a relief news for the people who bought Delhi Development Authority flats. DDA has extended the deadline for payment of the last installment for more than 1,800 premium flats in Dwarka 19B. These flats were sold through e-auction. Now the new deadline for paying 25% of the total cost will be 30 September, which was earlier 31 August. The authority said that this decision was taken due to the request of the buyers. Because, they needed more time to arrange the money. Apart from this, the deadline was also extended because finishing work is going on in the flats.
At the same time, home buyers have complained that DDA has not yet completed the necessary arrangements, including providing electricity and water connections, building main gates, appointing security guards and developing entertainment parks etc.
Fear of delay in possession transfer again
Flat buyers have written to DDA officials expressing apprehension that the deadline for transferring possession may be extended by a month due to slow pace of work on the site. DDA has already extended the deadline once in July.
Home buyers angry over slow pace of work
A buyer who bought a DDA flat said that he has paid 100% of the amount. We bought a 3-BHK flat through e-auction and were thinking of shifting during Dussehra or Diwali. But right now there is no electricity or water supply in the flat.
“There are no security guards in the complex, and entry to the apartment is through a side gate. The main gate is yet to be made operational. Forget about griha pravesh on Diwali. Given the speed of work, I don’t think we will be able to enter our flats this year,” a flat buyer was reported by TOI.
