The makers of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ on Tuesday announced the new season with registrations starting from April 26. The quiz-based reality show is being hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
The last episode of the 15th season of the show was aired on December 29, 2023. The makers of the show have shared a video on social media announcing the new season of the show, in which Amitabh’s clip from the last episode of season 15 can be seen.
Registration will start from 9 pm on April 26.
The video then showed glimpses of several social media messages, such as “Bachchan ji come back”, and “We miss you Big B. Please restart KBC.” The post is captioned, “Aisa Mila Pyaar is returning once again, Kaun Banega Crorepati is starting. Registration starts on 26th April at 9 pm.”
KBC new season
Fans wrote in the comments section, “Thank you for bringing the new season of KBC.” Another user said, “We miss you sir.” However, the premiere date of the new season has not been announced yet. The last episode of season 15 featured Avinash Bharti, an IAS candidate from Haiderganj, Uttar Pradesh. He had won an amount of Rs 50 lakh.
Jaskaran Singh became the winner of last season 15.
Indian para-archer Sheetal Devi and actress Vidya Balan were also included in the finale episode. She was followed by veteran actress Sharmila Tagore and her granddaughter Sara Ali Khan. Jaskaran Singh, who aspired to become an IAS, became the winner of Rs 1 crore in the first season of season 15. This show will soon air on Sony.
