Prime Video has announced 69 films and series simultaneously, many of which are still at the announcement stage. These contain films of different genres. Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 to Shahid Kapoor’s Ashwatthama and Vicky Kaushal’s Bad News. There are some films which have been released in theatres.
On Tuesday, Amazon Prime Video gave a big surprise to its subscribers and announced 69 films and web series simultaneously. The special thing is that of the films that Prime Video has announced post-theatrically, all of them, except a few, are currently in the pipeline.
The title of some has been announced and the shooting of some is about to start. There are very few films whose shooting has started. The films that have been released or are about to be released include Siddharth Malhotra’s Yodha and Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. Both these films are still running in theatres.
However, the release date of these films has not been revealed yet. Usually, films start coming on OTT within 4-8 weeks of their theatrical release.
Warrior
Yoddha , directed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, was released in theaters on March 15. Sidharth Malhotra played the role of a soldier in the film, who is a member of the Special Forces. The film had a slow start in theatres. The pace of the film is slow due to tough competition from the devil.

The pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon has come on screen for the first time in Teri Baton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. This is a science fiction romantic film, in which Kriti played the role of Robo. The film was released in theaters on February 9 and has done decent business at the box office.
Madgaon Express
Madgaon Express, slated for release on March 22, will also be streamed on Prime Video after the theatres. Kunal Khemu is making his directorial debut with this film. Divyendu, Prateek Gandhi and Avinash Tiwari are in lead roles in the comedy drama.

Apart from these films, Prime Video’s announcement also includes Sara Ali Khan’s Ae Watan Mere Watan , which is coming straight to OTT on March 21. This is the story of freedom fighter Usha Mehta, who founded underground radio to fight the British rule. Sara is in the role of Usha Mehta in this film. Emraan Hashmi will also be seen in an important role.
